FILM COMPLEX AND FILM POLICY – CM ANNOUNCE

The Karnataka Chief Minister Siddarmayya instructed his colleague Information minister Roshan Baig to take up the issue of film complex in the coming years behind the Bengaluru International Film Festival. This film complex will be with six screens and state of the art technology will be international film complex when the Bengaluru International Film Festival starts.

The government is ready for all support but good films have to be made. I welcome the point of SV Rajendra Singh Babu. Films made in Kannada should compete with entire country the chief minister wished. People come to cinema to rejoice, relax and remember, to cheer up. Let my colleague Roshan Baig take up the issue of international film complex said chief minister. Bengaluru is a local place with global outlook. It is making news in other areas and let it become a city of best films too mentioned chief minister.

The chief Minister also discussed on the Film Policy for Kannada cinema industry. Roshan Baig stated that a thorough discussion will be held with concerned members of the industry. The complex will be international convention center with Private Public participation. The country remains united because of cinema he expressed. At the same time information minister said there is need for good films and not the double meaning dialogues and titles. In the 50 and 60’s films were made with lot of care. We want such era to come back he pointed.
